The Dreaming house

Located behind a gated wall in the village of San Sebastian Xolopan, in the ancient city of Teotihuacan, lies the Casa del Suenos—The Dreaming House. The original house, over 200 years old, transformed into The Dreaming House over 15 years ago. It has welcomed hundreds of people on spiritual journeys, yoga retreats, medicinal journeys, and recovery experiences—becoming a new home for pilgrims coming to Teotihuacan. The rooms have modern conveniences, but no modern annoyances. Miracles seem normal, and are. Meals in the spacious dining hall are miraculous in themselves—country Mexican food prepared with skill and love. It’s a magical place for a magical time—where guests become family.

Teotihuacan

An Aztec poet once wrote, “These toltecs were very wise, it was their custom to converse withe their own hearts… they created a whole system, the book of dreams. The toltecs’ teachings say that life can be a dream of heaven on earth… a dream filled with abundance… of peace, happiness, grace, and love.”

Throughout history, people came from all over North and South America to learn the masteries taught in Teotihuacan—it’s been a University of consciousness for over 1500 years. The ancient city is a living presence, full of an energy that inspires and challenges those who visit, shaking up the tendency to settle for the familiar. Teotihuacan, meaning “the place where the gods were created,” is a place to visit with God and rediscover the power of conscious choice—a singularly personal experience.
